ITINERARY

Day 01: Wilpaththu

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your private chauffeur guide and transfer to Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest and oldest national park.

Relax at your safari lodge surrounded by natural wilderness and get ready for an exciting wildlife adventure.

Enjoy a thrilling full-day jeep safari in Wilpattu National Park, famous for its high density of Sri Lankan leopards, sloth bears, elephants, and exotic birdlife. The park’s unique “villus” (natural lakes) create stunning landscapes and great wildlife photography opportunities.

 

After breakfast, visit the ancient sacred city of Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring ancient stupas, monasteries, and the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree.

Continue to Mihintale, regarded as the birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.

Later, transfer to Sigiriya for overnight stay in the Cultural Triangle.
